Instant Coffee from Tanzania. CERTIFIED FAIR TRADE 
Producer: Tanganyika Instant Coffee Co Ltd, (TAnica), Bukoba, Tanzania In January 2005 the coffee cooperatives bought the Instant Coffee factory Tanica from the government after a long struggle. This is one of few (if not the only), where the producers themselves have been able to buy a factory in Tanzania under the privatisation. The purchase was financed in total by the extra income the coffee farmers had collected through Fair Trade.
