We are three friends, two from Tanzania and one from Sweden, who love African textiles and fashion. We think African textiles, especially the Kanga and Kitenge, are great products. They are fun, durable, and we would like more people around the world to enjoy them.

In Januari 2005 the coffee cooperatives bought the Instant Coffee factory Tanica from the government after a long struggle. This is one of few (if not the only), where the producers themselves have been able to buy a factory in Tanzania under the privatisation.

The purchase was financed in total by the extra income the coffee farmers had collected through Fair Trade.
